Welcome to our little corner of the web!

Hi there, and thanks for stopping by. You have reached the official homepage of Default Studios — a small independent outfit that makes games, tools and whatever else seems like a good idea at two in the morning.

This site is hand made. No frameworks, no trackers, no cookie banner, no newsletter popup. Just HTML, a stylesheet, and a completely unnecessary sparkle cursor. Move your mouse around. Go on. We will wait.

★ SWEEPER'S LUCK IS OUT NOW ON STEAM ★ NEW!
September 10, 2026 — Posted by the Webmaster

It is finally out. Sweeper's Luck is a Minesweeper roguelike about greed: deduce which tiles are safe, then bet on the ones worth taking. Load your safe tiles onto Slips, score them as poker hands multiplied by grid patterns, and decide every single run whether to bank it or push your luck one tile further.

It is $3.99 during the launch week — 20% off the normal price.

We are not saying what it is. We are barely admitting it exists. There is a redacted entry on the Projects page if you enjoy staring at black bars.

What we do here

  • Games. Small ones, strange ones, and the occasional big swing. Sweeper's Luck is the one you can buy today.
  • Whatever is next. There is a second thing in progress. We are being annoying about it on purpose.
  • Experiments. Ideas that may or may not survive contact with reality.
